View allREALLY THICK and STIFF. I had no idea, never before had a belt like this. Definitely not a belt for and arthritic old lady! More a lineman's belt, like a utility man would have heavy tools hanging from, not a "fashion" belt. So, great for large, working men, cowboys, cops, etc., but would not recommend these for women to wear with a dress at all! This is a serious belt, not in any sense a fashion belt.
I'm replying to this review to make sure the correct information is passed on to future customers. The Soft Buffalo leather belts are NOT thick nor stiff and are not for lineman. The Soft Buffalo leather is soft, flexible, and a thinner comfortable casual belt. Belt leather is measured in 'ounces' ranging from 8oz on the thin end up to 15oz on the thicker end. The soft buffalo leather ranges from 8oz to 10oz and is the thinnest leather I make belts out of. This leather is great for casual belts and fashion belts. I'm not entirely sure why this customer is thinking it is thicker cowboy/lineman leather, but it is certainly on the opposite end of the that spectrum. Just wanted to clarify that since this review is contradictory to the actual product I make. Catherine, if you received another customer's belt in the mail by accident, please respond to my email. Thank you. -Ben (Noble Buffalo)
The Wickett & Craig leather dress belt I ordered is great. It is cut perfectly at the size I need. The belt looks sleek and stylish. Moreover, the Wickett & Craig leather itself is hefty and durable. As soon as I took the belt out of the box, I knew it will be lasting me a long time.
In a time where planned obsolescence plagues most industries.. these belts will last a lifetime! Noble Buffalo has made a few of my favorite leather belts over the last few years. Ben’s attention to detail along with a great selection of leathers ensures any belt ordered you know will be made well and possibly outlast you. Brass hardware feels great and if nickel plating is your thing, I can confirm that it’ll take at least a few years to wear into the finishing. Do yourself a favor and buy a few for yourself or for others! These make for great gifts!
This is my 4th order and won’t be my last!
This was not a paid review and I did use my money to purchase these belts. Buy once, cry once!
