Leather Belt Care
Your belt arrives fully conditioned, oiled, and hand-buffed — ready to wear from day one.
When to Re-Condition
Full-grain leather does not require frequent maintenance. In most climates, conditioning every 3–5 years is sufficient. If you live in a dry or cold environment, or if the leather begins to feel dry, stiff, or dull, it may be time to recondition.
Cleaning & Refreshing
If your belt picks up light scuffs, dryness, or surface marks, Noble Buffalo Leather Balm can be used to refresh and clean up the appearance. A light application will revive the color, even out minor marks, and restore richness to the leather.
For formal occasions, a thin coat of leather balm can also be used to create a temporary, subtle shine. Buff thoroughly for a smooth, polished look.
How to Apply Leather Balm
-
Apply lightly
Using a soft cloth or your fingers, apply a thin, even coat of Noble Buffalo’s Leather Balm. -
Work into just the top grain-side
Massage a light layer into the top full-grain side of the belt. -
Let it absorb
Allow the balm to penetrate the leather for several minutes. -
Buff to finish
Use a clean, dry cloth to buff off any excess and bring out a smooth sheen. -
Allow to rest
Let the belt rest for 24 hours before wearing for best results.
Ongoing Care
Condition every few years or as needed. Proper maintenance will keep your belt supple, durable, and looking better with age.
